The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have made two additions to help their depleted defensive line.

In the wake of losing Jason Vega last weekend and Alex Hall the week before that, the Bombers have brought back defensive tackle Rodney Fritz and also signed Anthony DeGrate to their practice roster.

Fritz (6-1, 260, Tennessee State) appeared in three games for the Bombers earlier this year including one start at defensive end, and recorded three defensive tackles. He was originally signed by the team last September and played in three games last season as well as the East Final and Grey Cup.

DeGrate (6-1, 251, Texas A&M Commerce) recorded 49 total tackles as a senior, including nine sacks, and one blocked kick and spent the past two seasons in the Arena Football League with the Pittsburgh Power.
