MIKE COGHILL of Niakwa Country Club won the Manitoba Professional Golfers’ Association Assistants Championship on Sunday.
Coghill finished the two-day tournament with a score of one-under 143, knocking off the first-round leader, Quarry Oaks’ Dave Lavallee, by two strokes.
The tournament was held at St. Boniface Golf Club on June 20 and 21, and was open to all assistant professionals, apprentices, and associate professionals of the PGA of Manitoba.
