FORT SMITH, Ark. — John Daly is back in Arkansas this week, playing in the Nationwide Tour’s Fort Smith Classic.
Daly, who is from nearby Dardanelle, said Wednesday he’s feeling healthy and sharp heading into the tournament at Hardscrabble Country Club.
This is his first Nationwide tournament since 1991, shortly before he won the PGA Championship in a major upset.
Daly said he hopes his presence might help the Fort Smith event attract attention from sponsors.
