Hey there, time traveller!

Addison Kartusch has put herself in the mix once again, this time on the national stage.
The St. Charles teen will begin the final round of the Canadian junior girls golf championship today in a four-way tie for first place at one-under at Marine Drive Golf Club in Vancouver.
Kartusch, 17, is in a prime position following rounds of 71-74 and a two-under 70 on Wednesday that included four birdies. While others have had big swings in their final scores, the Winnipegger has remained one of the most consistent players in the field this week.
Team Manitoba — which included Kartusch, Jeri Lafleche and Cala Korman of Killarney — won silver in the inter-provincial team championship portion of the event after combining to shoot nine-over through the first 36 holes.
Kartusch has authored a sensational summer on the links, winning three times on the provincial circuit. Her year began with a victory at the match play event, and she encored by later capturing the Manitoba women’s amateur and junior girl’s championships within a five-day span.
The Canadian junior event is the first in a west-coast swing for Kartusch, who will travel to Victoria next week for the 110th Canadian women’s amateur.
