PRINCE ALBERT – Hunter St. Martin had a goal and two assists as the Medicine Hat Tigers defeated the Prince Albert Raiders 6-1 in Western Hockey League playoff action Wednesday night.

With the win, Medicine Hat took a commanding 3-0 lead in its best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series with Prince Albert.

Gavin McKenna, Veeti Väisänen, Mathew Ward, Tanner Molendyk and Ryder Ritchie also scored for Medicine Hat while Harrison Meneghin stopped 21 shots.

Lukas Dragicevic had the lone goal for Prince Albert.

HITMEN 3, HURRICANES 2 (OT)

LETHBRIDGE — Ben Kindel scored at 6:08 of overtime as Calgary tied its Eastern Conference series 2-2.

Brandon Gorzynski and Oliver Tulk had the other goals for the Hitmen. Anders Miller stopped 32 shots.

Trae Johnson and Noah Chadwick had the goals for Lethbridge while Jackson Unger made 21 saves.

WINTERHAWKS 6, SILVERTIPS 5 (OT)

PORTLAND — Josh Zakreski’s goal at 15:49 of overtime tied the Western Conference semifinal series at two games apiece.

Kyle Chyzowski had three goals for Portland while Diego Buttazzoni had a goal and three assists. Kayd Ruedig had the other goal.

Kaden Hammell, with two, Cole Temple, Landon DuPont and Tyler MacKenzie countered for Everett.

ROYALS 4, CHIEFS 3

VICTORIA — Teydon Trembecky’s third goal of the game at 19:30 of the third period gave the Royals a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference series.

Cole Reschny had the other goal for the winners. Jayden Kraus stopped 46 shots.

Andrew Cristall, with two, and Chase Harrington scored for Spokane. Dawson Cowan turned aside 29 shots.
