WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets have signed defenceman Dylan Samberg to a three-year contract extension with an average annual value of US$5.75 million, the club announced Wednesday.
The 26-year-old set career highs with six goals and 20 points in 60 games last season.
He also led the Jets with a plus-34 rating, tied for sixth in the NHL.
Samberg added three assists in 13 playoff games as Winnipeg advanced to the second round before falling to Dallas in Game 6.
The Hermantown, Minn., native has 51 points in 216 career NHL games.
He was a second-round pick (43rd overall) by the Jets in 2017.
