Blainville-Boisbriand Armada forward Justin Carbonneau had two goals and an assist in a 10-4 rout of the Newfoundland Regiment on Thursday night in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

Olivier Lemieux also scored twice while Xavier Villeneuve, Brayden Besner, Matt Gosselin, Vincent Desjardins, Olivier Metcalfe and Stefano Pietrantonio scored once for Blainville-Boisbriand.

Mateo Nobert had a whopping five assists and Théo Lemieux added four helpers. Netminder Arseni Radkov saved 16 of 20 shots.

The Armada (6-0-1) are on a tear to start the season. They’ve scored 44 goals for an average of 6.3 per game.

Marek Danicek, Liam Arsenault, Emile Perron and Lynden Larsen replied for Newfoundland. Regiment goaltender Antoine Proulx kicked out 9 of 15 shots

Chase Anderson gave up three goals on seven shots to get the hook just 5:37 into the first period. Antoine Proulx then let in six goals on 15 shots before being pulled after the second period. Anderson returned for the third period, stopping five of six shots.

HALIFAX — Shawn Carrier scored the game-winning goal — his second of the night — at 19:00 in the third period as the Halifax Mooseheads edged the Rimouski Océanic.

Cameron Minella, Connor MacPherson and Paulo Gualberto Jr. also scored for Halifax. Mooseheads goaltender Nicolas Gillham-Cirka saved 26 of 30 shots.

Justin Beaulieu, Lou Lévesque, Logan Roop and Émile Duquet replied for Rimouski. Océanic netminder William Lacelle kicked out 37 of 41 shots.

GATINEAU, Que. — Gabriel Séguin scored the game-winning goal with his second of the night at 18:55 in the third period as the Gatineau Olympiques edged the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

Justin Boisselle scored once for Gatineau. Olympiques goaltender Danai Shaiikov saved 30 of 32 shots.

Louis-Félix Bourque and Hugo Dufour all scored once for Drummondville. Voltigeurs goaltender Jan Larys kicked out 33 of 36 shots.
