CALGARY – Andrei Molgachev had three goals and an assist, Eric Tu made 29 saves, and the Calgary Hitmen knocked off the visiting Spokane Chiefs 5-0 in Western Hockey League action on Sunday.
Harrison Lodewyk and Caine Wilke also scored for the Hitmen (5-3-1-0), who led 1-0 after the first period and 3-0 heading into the third at Scotiabank Saddledome.
The Hitmen, who were outshot 29-28, went 0-for-5 on the power play. The Chiefs (6-5-0-0) were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
Goaltender Carter Esler stopped 23 of 28 shots for the Chiefs.

SASKATOON, Sask. — Hayden Harsanyi’s goal with five seconds left in the third period lifted the Saskatoon Blades to a 4-3 win over the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings.
Kazden Mathies, David Lewandowski and Cooper Williams also scored for the Blades (9-3-0-0), who outshot the visitors 24-21.
Ethan MacKenzie, Dylan Dean and Landon Hanson scored for the Oil Kings (9-3-0-0), who were tied 1-1 heading into the third period.
The Blades went 0-for-1 on the power play, while the Oil Kings were 0-for-2.

LANGLEY, B.C. — The Vancouver Giants got a 29-save performance from netminder Burke Hood and beat the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers 3-1 at Langley Events Centre.
Tyus Sparks, Jakob Oreskovic and Cameron Schmidt scored for the Giants (5-6-0-1), who led 2-0 after the first period and 2-1 heading into the third.
Noah Davidson scored for the Tigers (7-4-0-0), who outshot the Giants 30-21.
Both teams were 0-for-2 on the power play.

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Cash Koch had a goal and assist as the Tri-City Americans edged the visiting Kelowna Rockets 3-1.
Jake Gudelj and Savin Virk also scored for the Americans (3-6-0-0), who led 2-0 after the first period and 2-1 heading into the third. Netminder Xavier Wendt stopped 38 shots for the Americans.
Will Sharpe scored for the Rockets (3-5-0-1), who outshot the hosts 39-38.
The Americans went 1-for-7 on the power play, while the Rockets were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.
