VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Canucks have rounded out the staff for new head coach Manny Malhotra.

Ryan Mougenel, Jordan Smith and Jason Krog will serve as assistant coaches, while Andrew Shaw will be the assistant video coach.

Mougenel recently completed his eighth season with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League, including the last five as head coach. He is coming off winning the Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award as the AHL’s coach of the year.

Smith spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach under Malhotra with the Abbotsford Canucks, helping Vancouver’s AHL affiliate win the Calder Cup in 2024-25.

Krog has spent the last two seasons as a skills and skating coach with the Vancouver Canucks and Abbotsford Canucks.

Shaw also spent the last two campaigns with Abbotsford as the team’s video coach.
