VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Canucks have placed Aatu Raty on waivers as the NHL club looks to send the depth centre to its farm team.

Raty has seen action in just four games for Vancouver this season and has been a healthy scratch for four other contests.

The 23-year-old Finnish forward has one goal in the 2026-27 campaign and is averaging 10:10 in ice time.

He played 66 games for Vancouver last season, tallying four goals and 10 assists and winning 60.5 per cent of his faceoffs.

The Canucks acquired Raty, forward Anthony Beauvillier and a conditional draft pick from the New York Islanders in exchange for Bo Horvat in January 2023.

The six-foot-two, 204-pound athlete went on to win a Calder Cup championship with Vancouver’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Abbotsford Canucks, in June 2025.
