This is the first of a critical three-game homestand that includes dates with Washington on Friday and Carolina on Sunday. Seven of the Jets last 10 games are on the road… The Jets were 0-for-5 on their two-game road trip to Vancouver-Calgary, but went 10-for-18 in their last chances during the end of their homestand… Blake Wheeler has a four-game goal streak going and now has 18 points (7G, 11A) in his last 11 games… Evander Kane has 16 points (8G, 8A) over the past 11 games… Dustin Byfuglien is tied for third in scoring among all NHL defencemen with 43 points (10G, 33A) in 53 games.

Coming north to Winnipeg for the only meeting between the two teams this season and fresh from a 1-0 win in Minnesota Tuesday night… Goaltender Kari Lehtonen made 25 stops in Tuesday’s game for his fourth shutout of the season… Dallas is 6-4-2 in of back-to-back games and just 1-9-2 on the second day… The Stars have an 11-1-1 all-time record against the Jets/Thrashers and are undefeated against them in regulation road games (5-0-1). Michael Ryder has earned a point in 12 of his last 14 games against the Jets/Thrashers (10-5-15). Ryder has never lost a game against the Jets when he records a goal against them (11-0-0).
