★ Andrew Ladd, left-winger, Jets: El Capitan was el magnifico for the Jets. Two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist.
★★ Evander Kane, leftwinger, Jets: He was held off the scoresheet, yes, but he was still terrific with four shots and four hits.

★★★ Ondrej Pavelec, goalie, Jets : A handful of Devils had decent games, but Pavelec was solid again in locking up the win. As Claude Noel said afterward, “Right now, he’s driving our team.”
