ҕӕ SECOND-PERIOD OUTBURST:
The Jets scored four times — in 10 minutes, no less — in the second period, tying a franchise record that’s been accomplished nine times now.
The last time was in 2010 as the Atlanta Thrashers.
ҕӕ GET BACK OUT THERE:
Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien was used more than 11 minutes in the first period — mainly due to Zach Bogosian’s instigator penalty and misconduct — and Byfuglien ended the night with a season-high and game-high 31 minutes 18 seconds.
Byfuglien had one assist, four shots on goal and a failed shootout attempt in the seventh round.
ҕӕ UP NEXT:
Winnipeg finishes up a two-game road trip in Ottawa today before returning home for a MTS Centre matchup with the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night.
