WRIGHT TIME:
Winger James Wright came back into the lineup for the Jets, playing 9 minutes 21 seconds on Saturday. He had missed eight games with an upper-body injury.
ENERGY FACTOR:
Can the Jets make energy and rest their ally the rest of the way? Jets RW Kyle Wellwood thinks so. “There is a bit of relief today,” Wellwood said after his third goal of the year helped Saturday’s win. “We’ve had the hardest schedule in the league this year as far as travel and condensed games. I think everybody’s anxious to get a bit of rest and play the games where everybody’s got the energy level against the other teams coming in.”
UP NEXT:
Winnipeg continues a lengthy homestand with games Tuesday against Buffalo and Thursday against Florida.
