★ Charlie Coyle, Wild. One pro year under his belt, former Sharks first-rounder looks like he’s going to be a player.

★★ Josh Harding, Wild. Steady goaltending and outplayed his counterpart in the Jets’ net for the two periods he played.

★★★ Bryan Little, Jets. Providing all the home team’s offence is worthy of the top three, but not a fantastic night for the Jets.

TANGO OUT

Jets forward Eric Tangradi was scheduled to play Thursday night’s contest but left the morning skate partway through. Coach Claude Noel said later Tangradi’s undisclosed injury wasn’t much of an injury, more “traning-camp fatigue,” and listed the forward as day-to-day. In his place, the Jets brought left-winger Evander Kane into the lineup. He was working on the ice late Thursday morning with the group not playing against the Wild.

NOT JET YET

With four exhibition games yet to play, don’t expect to see much in the way of cuts or re-assignments in the next day or two. The Jets go to Minnesota for the return encounter Saturday, then to Edmonton Monday. After that, expect the team to focus in on its probable real lineup in the final two pre-season games next Thursday and Friday against the Boston Bruins.
