Hey there, time traveller!

It’s now a given across the NHL that the MTS Centre is one of the loop’s best venues for the overall game-day experience. But it’s hardly translated into the Jets being absolutely dominant at home.
Some numbers, facts and stats to fuel the discussion:
HOME RECORDS, 2013
RANK TEAM W-L-OT
1. Los Angeles 19-4-1
2. Chicago 18-3-3
3. San Jose 17-2-5
4. Pittsburgh 18-6-0
5. Boston 16-5-3
21. WINNIPEG 13-10-1
HOME RECORDS, 2011-12
RANK TEAM W-L-OT
1. Detroit 31-7-3
2. St. Louis 30-6-5

FIVE JUICY HOME NUMBERS
1. The Kings roll into Winnipeg having played the night before in Minnesota. Ditto Anaheim, who are here Sunday after playing in Minny Saturday night. In 2011-12 — the last full NHL season — the Jets were 9-2-1 at home when the visiting team had played the night before.
2. The Jets had the 26th-ranked power play at home last season with a 15.4 percentage. In their first year in Winnipeg their home power-play ranking was second-best overall to Nashville.
3. Over the last two years the best single month the Jets have had at home was in December of 2011 when they went 9-2-1. The Jets’ home record by month, combined over the last two seasons: October: 2-2-0; November: 3-2-0; December: 9-2-1; January: 3-3-1; February: 6-6-2; March: 8-7-0; April: 5-1-2.
4. The Jets are 18-3-0 when leading after the first period over the last two years; 23-5-3 when ahead after 40 minutes.
5. Blake Wheeler leads all Jets in home scoring over the last two years with 22 goals and 44 assists, followed by Andrew Ladd (30G, 28A) and Evander Kane (25G, 26A)
