Little Big Man
Jets centreman Bryan Little picked up a rebound in the high slot, turned and fired, notching his team leading 9th goal of the season at 3:04 of the first period and setting the tone for what was to come. He added his 10th goal later.
Pivotal goal
With the Jets already leading 2-0, forward Eric Tangradi deflected a point shot from defenceman Dustin Byfuglien, putting Winnipeg up 3-0 at 8:23 of the first and chasing Predators starting goalie Carter Hutton from the game.
