үӯ DIVISIONAL WARFARE:

The Jets needed a win of any sort, but even more so against a divisional rival. Winnipeg’s record against Central Division clubs was 2-7-1 coming into the game. The Jets are well out of a playoff position right now, and if they want to climb back into the race, they’re going to need to collect clean wins against Western Conference opponents more often than not.

үӯ BRILLIANT BRYAN:

Another two goals show Little up near the top of the league leaders. Blues sniper Alex Steen leads the league with 14, but Little is now in a group of just seven players in double digits. Little will be a tremendous bargain at $4 million this season if he can continue at his current pace, which would see him score 45 goals. Little scored 31 goals in 2008-09, his second in the NHL. An underrated player, he works hard on the defensive aspects of the game and can dish as well as shoot.

үӯ UP NEXT:

The Jets are home to San Jose Sunday night at the MTS Centre.
