ABOUT THE SENS
After a surprising run to the post-season last spring, the Sens have struggled a bit during life after Daniel Alfredsson and have opened to a 17-18-7 record. Ottawa has won two straight and is 5-4-1 over their last 10.
Ottawa’s big struggles are as a defensive team. They have a minus-17 goal differential and that’s hurt them most of all. Forward Bobby Ryan has been dangerous scoring 18 goals and 36 points. Former Norris Trophy winner Erik Karlsson is a big part of Ottawa’s offence with 10 goals and 38 points.

Chris Phillips will return from injury against the Jets but captain Jason Spezza and winger Chris Neil remain sidelined.
Winnipeg native Mark Stone has been recalled to replace Neil and he worked out on a line at practice earlier this week with Zack Smith and Colin Greening.
