CRITICAL NUMBER

11.7 per cent — The Jets’ chances of making the playoffs, according to sportsclubstats.com. That’s up 3.4 per cent after Sunday’s win over Montreal.

NO SUPPORT

Montreal has scored just seven times in Carey Price’s last six starts, an average of 1.17 goals per game.

OOH LA LA

The Jets won for the first time at the Bell Centre since their return in 2011-12. Previously, Winnipeg was 0-4 in visits to Montreal, having been outscored 18-7.

NOTABLE

Jets D-man Jacob Trouba, who leads all NHL rookies in ice time, logged another 24 minutes and 31 seconds on Sunday… The Jets were 0-3 on the power play and have now gone 0-for-9 with the man advantage in their last four games… Michael Frolik’s goal was his second game-winner for the Jets and first since the opening-night win over Edmonton on Oct. 1. His 12 goals are the most since he potted 21 in his first two seasons in the NHL, 2008-09 and 2009-10… Winnipeg is now 6-4-1 against Canadian teams.

AFTERNOON DELIGHT

Winnipeg improved to just 2-5-1 in afternoon games this year.

UP NEXT

The Jets headed to Raleigh, N.C., immediately after the contest for the second of their four-game road trip, Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes (6 p.m., TSN Jets/TSN 1290).
