Edmonton Oilers at Winnipeg Jets
When: Tonight, 7 p.m., MTS Centre
On the Air: TSN3, TSN1290
үӯ ABOUT THE OILERS
The Oilers, like the Jets, are into their second exhibition game. They dispatched the Calgary Flames 3-1 Sunday.
Edmonton made a massive cut to its training camp roster after one game, assigning 18 players Tuesday to get to 49.
The preliminary plan for the Oilers tonight was to bring a top line of Nail Yakupov, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle, and also to have first-round pick of 2014 Leon Draisaitl in the lineup.
The Jets won their pre-season opener Monday, 2-1 over Minnesota, and have six more exhibition games to go. Their next after tonight will be Saturday in Minnesota.
