★Taylor Hall, Edm: Scored twice; once on a superb feed by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the second on a dandy dangle that shouldn’t have beaten Michael Hutchinson.
★★ Mathieu Perreault, Wpg: The best of the Jets. He had jump all night, scored the lone goal and looks like solid No. 3 centre behind Bryan Little and Mark Scheifele.
★★★ Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Edm: Picked up a couple of helpers and won 60 per cent of his draws. A typical night’s work for RNH.

Jets D-man Josh Morrissey suited up for his third pre-season game Monday in Edmonton. Over the last year he has played in 115 games for the Prince Albert Raiders, Team Canada at the World Juniors, the St. John’s IceCaps and Jets.
OUCH AGAIN:
The Jets, who have already lost T.J. Galiardi for a week or so after he took a stick to the eye in practice last Friday, also lost Patrice Cormier in the third period against the Oilers. The big centre also took a stick to the face after a draw.
DECISION TIME:
The Jets will likely have to slice down their roster soon in order for coach Paul Maurice to start working with the crew he’ll take into the regular season.
THE RECORD:
Winnipeg is now 1-3 in the pre-season and, dating back to last year is 2-7-3 over the past two years.
UP NEXT:
The Jets flew back home immediately after the game and face the Ottawa Senators tonight at The MTS Centre, 7 p.m. (TSN3; TSN 1290) in the fifth of their seven pre-season games.
