Winnipeg Jets at Carolina Hurricanes

When: Tonight, 6 p.m. CT, PNC Center

On the Air: TSN3, TSN1290

About the Hurricanes

  • After an awful start, the Hurricanes have found a track forward, winning five of their last six (5-0-1) including Monday’s home 4-1 bouncing of the Calgary Flames. Prior to last Saturday’s overtime loss in Washington, the Canes had won four straight to start reversing their eight straight losses to start the year.
  • Carolina had a power-play goal from defenceman Justin Faulk on Monday, giving them advantage goals in three straight games.
  • Faulk is off to an excellent start to the season, now with two goals and 10 points this season after his three-point game on Monday.
  • Sniper Jeff Skinner had his third goal of the season on Monday. He has three goals so far this season in 10 games. Jiri Tlusty leads Carolina with six goals so far.
