үӯ ABOUT THE BLUES
The Blues have an odd weekend schedule, playing afternoon contests today in Ottawa and Sunday at the MTS Centre. Coming into the weekend, St. Louis had lost two straight on the road (Boston, Montreal) after having won 10 of its previous 11 games.
At 25.4 per cent, the Blues were running second overall in the NHL with the man advantage.
RW Vladimir Tarasenko has his team-leading 11th goal of the season on Thursday in Montreal, also leads the Blues in scoring with 22 points heading into the weekend.
After getting holding a lead through 20 minutes on Tarasenko’s goal on Thursday, St. Louis failed to win for just the third time in 14 games this sason in which it was leading or tied through one period (11-2-1).
St. Louis is 4-1-0 vs. the Central Division so far this season.
