ABOUT THE FLAMES
- The Flames (27-20-3) scored four goals in the third period Saturday night to rally from a 2-0 deficit and beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2. It was Calgary’s sixth win in a row over the Oilers.
- The Flames lead the NHL with nine wins when trailing after two periods this season and also lead the NHL in third-period goals with 63. In contrast, the Jets are winless when trailing after two periods, with an 0-13-3 mark.
- Calgary defeated the Jets 4-1 the last time these two teams met on Oct. 19 at the MTS Centre. That loss was Winnipeg’s season-long fourth in a row, a mark they would equal with another loss to Calgary tonight at the Saddledome.
- The Flames are 13-10-2 at home this season and 6-4-0 in their last 10 games.
