Hey there, time traveller!

The Avs fell 1-0 in St. Paul’s Saturday night, keeping them seven points back of the Jets at 22-20-11. Devan Dubnyk had to kick out only 18 shots for the win and the shutout in the Wild net. Dubnyk is now 7-1 since joining the Wild with a 1.30 GAA, .948 save percentage and four shutouts in just nine starts.
Colorado is now 9-10-8 on the road and have dropped two straight games, including last Thursday’s 3-0 loss to Detroit. Their minus-13 goal differential is third worst in the Western Conference, behind only Edmonton and Arizona.
The Jets are 2-0-1 against the Avs this year, winning 2-1 and 6-2 and falling 4-3 in a shootout.
Semyon Varlamov was in goal for the Avs against the Wild and has started 17 of their last 18 games.
Avs defenceman Tyson Barrie leads the club with 25 assists, tying his career high.
Veteran Jarome Iginla is still getting it done at age 37: he leads the Avs in goals with 16, became the 47th player in NHL history to reach the 1,200-point plateau last month and also moved past Mike Bossy into 20th place on the NHL’s all-time goals list.
Avs star Nathan MacKinnon was in his first NHL fight last Thursday in Detroit, dropping the gloves against Jonathan Ericsson.
