ABOUT THE STARS
- Sunday’s 6-2 defeat in Minnesota was Dallas’s third in a row. The team has lost four of its last five after winning three in a row. The Stars took a 1-0 lead into Sunday’s third period but gave up six goals to the Wild. They’ve now given up 18 goals in the last three games.
- C Jason Spezza (above) had both Dallas goals on Sunday, giving him 14 on the season. C Tyler Seguin leads the team with 29 this season.
- One of the reasons the Stars have struggled this season is they have a 5-11-6 record within in the Central Division. The Stars are the division’s worst defensive team, having allowed 198 goals so far.
- Dallas’s record against the Jets this season is 1-2. The team lost home games to Winnipeg 5-2 and 2-1, and won a game in Winnipeg last month, 5-2.
- A potential brother-versus-brother matchup could come up tonight. Stars D John Klingberg, 22, is the younger brother of Jets LW Carl Klingberg, 24.
