❯❯ About the FLYERS
Philadelphia (34-23-11) will be a desperate team, having lost three straight games. They are fighting for their playoff lives, currently sitting in third place in the ultra-competitive Metropolitan Division, but with New Jersey and Columbus nipping at their heels.
The Flyers are a dangerous offensive team led by C Claude Giroux (23G, 57A), RW Jakub Voracek (16G, 57A) and C Sean Couturier (29G, 34A). There is also plenty of secondary scoring including RW Wayne Simmonds (20G, 17A) and C Travis Konecny (18G, 19A)

They also have a young and talented blue-line led by D Shayne Gostisbehere (10G, 40A) and D Ivan Provorov (12G, 20A).
A pair of Winnipeg-born players in C Nolan Patrick (10G, 12A) and RW Dale Weise (4G, 4A) give the Flyers some local flavour.
Philadelphia is currently without their top two goaltenders due to injury. They added G Petr Mrazek (3-3-1, 3.08 GAA, .889 SV% in seven starts with the Flyers) in a deadline trade from Detroit.
The Flyers have the NHL’s 16th-best power play at 20.2%, and the 28th-ranked penalty killing at 75.5%.
Philadelphia lost a 3-2 shootout decision in Winnipeg back in mid-November.
