❯❯ About the STARS
Dallas (38-26-7) held down the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference prior to Friday’s NHL action. The Stars, 2-3-3 in March, were in Ottawa to face the Senators on Friday, two nights after letting a 4-2 lead slip away and losing 6-5 in a shootout to Toronto.
The Stars have lost three games to the Jets this season, the last coming Feb. 24 in Dallas when RW Patrik Laine’s two-goal effort sparked the Jets to a 5-2 victory.

C Tyler Seguin, in his fifth season in Dallas, leads the squad in goals (37) and points (68). Over his career, he has been a thorn in Winnipeg’s side, scoring 18 goals and chipping in 15 assists in 27 games. LW Jamie Benn is having another fine season (25G, 38A), as is RW Alexander Radulov (25G, 36A), while D John Klingberg leads all NHL blue-liners with 58 points (7G, 51A).
Dallas G Ben Bishop was set to return from an injury Friday. The former Vezina Trophy finalist is 26-17-4 with a 2.49 GAA and .917 save percentage this year.
