❯❯ About the DUCKS
Some fine work by its special teams propelled Anaheim to a 6-3 triumph over the New York Rangers on Tuesday. RW Rickard Rakell and RW Corey Perry fired power-play goals, while C Adam Henrique scored a short-handed tally as the Ducks improved to 23-17-9 but are still just below the wild-card line in the Western Conference. The Ducks are 6-3-1 in their last 10.
Henrique has four points (3G, 1A) in a four-game point streak, while Rakell has nine points (7G, 2A) in his past seven home games. Rakell leads the squad with 18 tallies. C Ryan Getzlaf has 24 points (5G, 19A) in 18 games since recovering from a broken cheekbone that forced him to miss 19 contests.
G John Gibson is 17-14-5 in 38 starts, with a 2.68 goals-against average and .921 save percentage. He’s prevailed in four of his last five starts.

Shutdown D Kevin Bieksa, in his 13th NHL season after spending parts of three years with the Manitoba Moose, is averaging more than 18 minutes of ice time a night and has five assists but has yet to score in 43 games this season. The veteran blue-liner only had three goals during the 2016-17 campaign.
