RW Patrick Kane leads the club with 28 points, including 13 goals in 24 games. C Jonathan Toews is second with 11 goals and 21 points in 25 games. Sophomore LW Alex DeBrincat is next with 19 points, including 10 goals, in 25 games. Toews has eight points, including three goals, in his last eight games.
D Brandon Davidson (knee) and D Connor Murphy (back) are out.
— C Dylan Strome and LW Brendan Perlini will be playing their second game for the Hawks since being acquired from the Arizona Coyotes in a trade for F Nick Schmaltz. Strome had a goal, assist and was a plus-1 in 15:32 of ice time in his Chicago debut, an 8-3 loss to the visiting Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. Perlini was pointless and was minus-2 in 12:35.
— The Blackhawks are 3-5-0 under recently installed head coach Jeremy Colliton, who replaced Joel Quenneville on Nov. 6 following the team’s 9-11-5 start.
