❯❯ About the BRUINs
G Anton Khudobin stopped 36 shots in Boston’s 3-0 win in Buffalo on Tuesday night. It was his first shutout of the season and sixth of his career. The Bruins improved to 17-10-5 overall, which is good for third in the Atlantic Division. Boston has a 10-5-3 record on home ice with a respectable 7-5-2 road mark.

G Tuukka Rask extended his regulation undefeated streak to seven games in Monday’s 7-2 win over Columbus — he’s 6-0-1 in his last seven starts. He has played in eight of Boston’s last 10 games (one no-decision in relief) with a 1.45 goals-against average and .937 save percentage in that span. Overall, Rask has a .912 save percentage and 2.42 goals-against average in 21 appearances, with a 9-8-3 record.
D Charlie McAvoy had the Gordie Howe hat trick against the Blue Jackets with a goal, assist and fight. He is the first Bruin to accomplish the feat since D Zdeno Chara did it on Nov. 29, 2013 against the New York Rangers.
The Bruins are getting big production out of their top line of David Pastrnak (15 goals, 31 points in 32 games), Brad Marchand (14 goals, 29 points in 24 games) and Patrice Bergeron (eight goals, 22 points in 27 games).
