ONCE AGAIN
Just repeating the answer to a question fans often ask as to why some players are assigned to the AHL and others aren’t:
Players still on entry-level contracts (their first) can be reassigned to the AHL without having to clear waivers. So can players on two-way deals who pass through waivers unclaimed.
QUEBEC CARAVAN
RDS is reporting that a hockey tour being led by Maxime Talbot and Bruno Gervais of the Flyers and featuring a number of Francophone players will begin playing next Thursday in Chateauguay, a suburb of Montreal.
