LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Vegas Golden Knights signed Northeastern University goalie Cameron Whitehead to a two-year, entry-level contract Thursday.
The 21-year-old Whitehead was 13-17-3 with a 2.74 goals against average and .911 save percentage in 35 games for Northeastern this season, his second with the Huskies.
From Orleans, Ontario, the 6-foot-3 Whitehead was drafted by the Golden Knights in the fourth round in 2022. He played two seasons of junior for the Lincoln Stars in the USHL.
