NYON, Switzerland – UEFA has banned Feyenoord from selling tickets to its fans for a Europa League away game as punishment for crowd disorder in Switzerland.
UEFA says its disciplinary panel fined the Dutch club 55,000 euros ($60,500) for incidents at a 2-0 loss against Young Boys in Bern on Oct. 24.
Feyenoord was also ordered to contact the Swiss champion to pay compensation for damage caused by its fans.
The ticket sale ban will apply when Feyenoord visits Porto on Dec. 12.
