Hey there, time traveller!

Marcel de Jong has won a second term as president of the Professional Footballers Association Canada (PFACan).
De Jong, who recently announced his retirement as a Pacific FC player, won by acclamation. Treasurer Tomi Ameobi, who captained FC Edmonton last season, also retained his post by acclamation.
Cavalry FC goalkeeper Marco Carducci and Issey Nakajima-Farran, a former Pacific FC player, were voted first and second vice-president, respectively. The first vice-president would take over as president if the job became open.
Carducci was vice-president last year while Nakajima-Farran was a board member.
Sasha Andrews-Vietz, Daryl Fordyce, Ciara McCormack and incumbent Ben Fisk were voted members at large.
Andrews-Vietz is a former Canadian international while B.C.-born McCormack is a former Irish international. Fordyce is a forward with Valour FC while Fisk captained Atletico Ottawa last year.
The association’s bylaws requires two female board members, with Andrews-Vietz and McCormack both acclaimed.
Kyle Porter (FC Edmonton) and Niko Giantsopoulos (York United FC) ran unsucessfully for the board. Porter served as vice-president last year.
PFACan was accepted last month as a candidate member by FIFPRO, which represents more than 65,000 professional men’s and women’s players across 65 affiliated national player associations.
