Valour FC continues to disappoint.

Winnipeg’s professional soccer club fell 3-0 to Pacific FC on Saturday afternoon at IG Field. Valour is 3-7-8 on the year and in seventh place in the eight-team Canadian Premier League (CPL).

Pacific got on the scoreboard early with Adonijah Reid finding the back of the net five minutes into the game. The visitors from Langford, B.C., then scored twice in the closing 10 minutes — Josh Heard followed by Ayman Sellouf — to solidify the victory. Pacific is in first place at 9-5-4.

Valour had five matches in July and only came away with one point — a 1-1 draw with Forge FC on July 15 at Tim Hortons Field.

The club’s problem continues to be its inability to score goals and has been held off the scoresheet seven times in 2023. Valour’s 18 goals on the year is tied for the fewest in the CPL.
