LIMA, Peru (AP) — Veteran strikers Paolo Guerrero and Raul Ruidiaz have been left out of the Peru squad for the World Cup qualifying playoff against an Asian team next month.

Peru will take on Australia or the United Arab Emirates on June 13 in Al Rayyan, Qatar. To warm up, Peru will play a friendly against New Zealand on June 5 in Barcelona.

Guerrero and Ruidiaz were key for Peru qualifying four years ago.

Defenders: Miguel Araujo (Emmen), Luiz Abram (Cruz Azul), Luis Advincula, Carlos Zambrano (Boca Juniors), Miguel Trauco (Saint Étienne), Aldo Corzo (Universitario), Alexander Callens (New York City), Christian Ramos (Alianza Lima), Marcos López (San José Earthquakes).
