A beta version of Manitoba’s teacher registry is now online.
The digital database, which launched Monday, includes the full names of anyone who has entered the profession, dating back to 1960. The registry includes anyone who has or had a teaching certificate and states whether the certificate has been suspended or cancelled.
Bobbi Taillefer, the registry’s commissioner, also officially began work Monday.
