A dozen more measles cases announced

The province reported 12 more confirmed measles cases this week.
The total number of cases in Manitoba since February has increased to 158. There are another nine probable cases, compared with eight the last time the government provided updated numbers.
The numbers are accurate as of July 19.
The province notified the public Friday about another place where people might have been exposed to measles: Tornado’s Restaurant & Lounge in Portage la Prairie, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Public health officials asked anyone who was there during those times to check their immunization records and ensure they are up to date with measles vaccines.
