Agnes Street shooting leaves man, 21, in critical condition

Winnipeg police are investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old man with life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a home in the 600 block of Agnes Street just before 7 a.m. following reports of an injured male. Police located the victim suffering from a serious gun shot wound to his upper body. He was taken to hospital by ambulance in critical condition.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the homicide unit has taken over the investigation. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
