Blue Bombers lose to Argonauts

TORONTO — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers were handed a third straight loss as they fell 31-17 to the Toronto Argonauts at BMO Field.
Quarterback Zach Collaros did not finish the contest. He emerged from the locker room without pads after halftime.
Collaros went five-for-10 for 79 yards with two interceptions. Chris Streveler was 11-of-18 for 148 passing yards while connecting with Jerreth Sterns on a touchdown in the fourth quarter in relief.
Argos quarterback Nick Arbuckle completed 22 of 31 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns. His main target was Damonte Coxie, who finished with six catches for 145 yards and one touchdown.
The Bombers dropped to 3-3, while the Argos improved to 2-5.
The two clubs will play a rematch in Winnipeg on Aug. 1 at Princess Auto Stadium.
