The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will welcome a familiar face back to Princess Auto Stadium when they kick off the 2025 season, as former offensive co-ordinator Buck Pierce and the B.C. Lions visit his old stomping grounds on June 12.
The regular season will begin with the Bombers on a bye in Week 1.
The club’s season opener is the first of three Thursday night games on its home schedule. The Bombers will travel to Vancouver in Week 3 to begin the first of four home-and-home series on the calendar.
The rest of the club’s home schedule includes three contests on Fridays — July 18 (versus Calgary), Aug. 1 (versus Toronto) and Oct. 17 (versus Saskatchewan). The team plays three Saturday games — the annual Banjo Bowl on Sept. 6 (versus Saskatchewan), the Orange Shirt Game on Sept. 27 (versus Hamilton) and the regular-season finale on Oct. 25 (versus Montreal).
The annual Labour Day Classic against Saskatchewan will go Aug. 31 in Regina.
