American actor-comedian Bob Odenkirk, who has been in Winnipeg shooting back-to-back films (Nobody 2 and Normal), announced on Instagram today that he will be doing an improv show with Kids in the Hall star Kevin McDonald on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. with all proceeds going to Dream Factory, Art City and Harvest Manitoba.
The Better Call Saul star, who also created the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with David Cross, posted, “After 3 features shot here, I want to thank Winnipeg for the hospitality and good times.”
The show will take place on the second floor of Hargrave St. Market, and will feature performances by local bluegrass band the Stanley County Cut-Ups.
Tickets are $50 for standing, $75 for seated and $200 for a VIP reception with Odenkirk and McDonald. They can be purchased at mottolagrocery.com.
