The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have inked centre Chris Kolankowski to a two-year extension, the CFL club announced Monday.
Kolankowski was set to become a free agent on Feb 13, but with his new deal will remain in blue and gold through the 2025 season. The 31-year-old has been with the Bombers since 2020, but only became a starter in 2022 after an injury to Michael Couture, playing in every game in 2023.
The Bombers have no locked up three of their five starting O-lineman from last season, with left guard Patrick Neufeld and left tackle Stanley Bryant also inking extensions over the off-season. That leaves right Jermarcus Hardrick and guard Geoff Gray still in need of a contract.
