Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ veteran right tackle Stanley Bryant was stretchered off the field during the Bombers’ opening drive against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

After taking a knee while trainers attended to him, Bryant attempted to walk off the field with the support of staff but only made it a few steps before going back down to a knee.

Following a 10-minute stoppage, Bryant exited with a wrap on his left leg. A sign of optimism, he quickly waved to the crowd as he left the field.

A four-time recipient of the CFL’s Most Outstanding Lineman award, Bryant has appeared in every contest since 2022 for the Bombers.

The Bombers lead the Ti-Cats 3-0 in the first quarter.
