Manitoba RCMP say a man accused of participating in a Portage la Prairie child sex ring was not involved.
Scott Joseph Taylor was charged last week with obtaining sexual services for consideration from a minor and unsafe storage of firearms.
He was among seven arrested and charged after a Long Plain First Nation woman was accused of befriending and luring teens into a room where they were coerced into performing sex acts in Portage between February and June.
RCMP said Friday that Taylor was not involved in the exploitation. His home had been searched amid the probe, where investigators found firearms. All the charges have since been stayed.
RCMP announced the arrests last week. Police said Friday three additional victims have since come forward.
