City man charged in Carman commercial break-ins

A Winnipeg man has been charged in four break-ins at Carman businesses.
The first incident happened early on May 4, while the last happened early Tuesday. One business on 1st Street Southwest was broken into twice, on Sunday and Tuesday.
Pembina Valley RCMP reviewed security video and arrested the 30-year-old man at a Carman home. He has been charged with four counts of break-and-enter and single counts of mischief under $5,000 and possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes. He was remanded into custody.
Police are still searching for a female who was involved in some of the incidents, RCMP said in a news release Thursday.
