City police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspected of committing indecent acts against two women in public.

The Winnipeg Police Service received two separate reports of offences alleged to have happened between March and April. Images of a suspect were captured on security cameras, police said in a news release Wednesday.

The suspect was initially described by police as a man in his 20s with slight facial hair and collar-length dark hair. He might be wearing a ball cap with white spiders on it or a San Francisco Giants hat with “SF in orange.”

The WPS released images of the male Wednesday but said in another news release Thursday that police have since learned he might be a youth.

Police asked anybody who recognizes the suspect to contact its sex crimes unit at 204-986-6245, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 204-786-8477 (TIPS) or online.
