City website down

The city of Winnipeg’s official website is down.

As of Friday afternoon, attempting to access winnipeg.ca will result in a login pop-up and the site will not load.

“We’re experiencing unexpected issues with some sites on winnipeg.ca,” a city spokesperson said in an email Friday afternoon. “We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible with our vendor.”

The spokesperson did not say what caused the outage.
